Give God the glory

Testimonies point to Jesus, not to us. Tell your story honestly, including the hard parts, and let the credit go where it belongs.

Tell the truth

Do not embellish, invent or borrow someone else's story. A true small story does more good than an impressive false one.

Build people up

• Comment to encourage, not to correct someone's theology publicly.
• Disagree gently and privately where you can.
• No mocking, sarcasm at someone's expense, or pile-ons.

Guard other people's privacy

Your story often involves other people. Avoid naming family members, abusers or churches in ways that identify them without their consent.

Not allowed

• Hate, harassment, threats or discrimination.
• Sexual content, graphic violence, or anything involving minors inappropriately.
• Spam, selling, fundraising appeals or recruiting for other platforms.
• Manipulating the fire ratings or the Featured list.
• Predatory behaviour, including romantic pursuit disguised as ministry.

Sensitive content

Many testimonies touch on addiction, abuse, self-harm or suicide. Share what God did without graphic detail or method description. If you are in danger right now, please contact local emergency services.

If something is wrong

Use the report button on any testimony or comment. Reports go to our moderation queue. Content that breaches these guidelines may be hidden or removed, and accounts may be suspended.
