Statement of Faith

The Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy word of God, and the final authority for faith and life.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, that He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by anything we have earned. Every testimony on this site is a witness to that grace.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, indwells and empowers believers to live holy lives and to bear witness to Jesus.

The Church

We believe in the general assembly and church of the firstborn, Hebrews 12:23 — all who trust in Jesus Christ — and we encourage every member here to belong to a local congregation. This site supports the local church; it does not replace it.

Secondary matters

Members come from many denominations and traditions. On matters outside these essentials we ask for charity, humility and respect.
