Who we are

Salvation Testimonies (salvationtestimonies.org) is operated by John Grech in Australia. For any privacy question, email intechformology@gmail.com.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not run behavioural advertising networks on this site, and we do not share your testimonies with advertisers or data brokers.

What we collect

  • Account details — your email address and password (stored encrypted), or the basic profile Google returns if you use Google Sign-In.
  • Profile information you choose to add — display name, photo, cover image, bio, location, home town, church, favourite scripture, the year you were saved and a website link. All of these are optional except your display name.
  • Content you post — testimonies, uploaded videos and images, comments, ratings, friend requests and reports.
  • Technical data — basic logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

  • To create your account and let you sign in.
  • To display your profile and testimonies to the audience you choose.
  • To send in-app notifications about friend requests, ratings and comments.
  • To moderate reported content and keep the community safe.

Who can see what

Public testimonies can be seen by anyone, including search engines. Friends-only testimonies are visible only to you and members you have accepted as friends — this is enforced by our database, not just hidden in the interface. Uploaded videos on friends-only testimonies are served through short-lived private links that follow the same rule. Your profile page and display name are publicly visible.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored on our hosting and database provider's secure infrastructure. Passwords are hashed and never visible to us. Uploaded media is kept in private storage.

How long we keep it

We keep your content while your account is open. When you delete your account we permanently remove your profile, testimonies, uploaded media, comments, ratings and friendships. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before being overwritten.

Your rights

  • Access and download — export a copy of your data from Settings.
  • Correction — edit your profile and testimonies at any time.
  • Deletion — delete individual testimonies, or your whole account, from Settings.
  • Complaint — contact us first; Australian users may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Cookies

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and to save an unfinished testimony draft on your own device. See our Cookie Notice for details.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will show a notice on the site before the change takes effect.
